You know the saying that goes…
Don’t judge a book by its cover.
I don’t know who said it but uhm… this is really hard to do! Obviously the first you see of a book is the outside. The damn COVER!! Of course, you don’t judge solely on the cover, the concept of the story that is revealed through the blurb is the biggest factor here. But let us ALL just admit that there is some form of judgement when you look at the cover of any book you want to buy or are thinking of buying.
This post is dedicated to my favourite book covers that I’ve READ.
Edit: I just realised how useless this post is without photos…
Edit of the edit: Photos are up!
Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
All the Matthew Reilly Books I Have
First of all, I love the simplicity. If that’s the right word for it. Second of all the hardcover isn’t too shabby either.
A Little Something Different
Sure the story was good but the cover is BEAUTIFUL!
The Healers Series by Maria V. Snyder
———–>>>> I’m in a weird mood… If that isn’t obvious.
The Infernal Devices by Cassandra Clare
I forgot to add…
A Man Called Ove
Now I would add more but it seems my brain won’t work with me. I can’t seem to remember any other books I’ve read but there you have it.
Do you agree with my picks? What are your favourite covers?
P.S- I’ll add pictures later. Too lazy to do it now…
Edit: Please ignore my purple blanket and my terrible photography skills…
